FINAL PROJECT

IDEA

The project aims to provide a space that gathers the individuals of Palestine the ancient, a space that desires to break not only the visual borders but also the cognitive. That is the consequence of the historical political events that occurred in the area. which resulted in detachment. Therefore, the project proposes a space for integration between Palestinians with different backgrounds, and to merge between east and west Jerusalem. The combination will be done by underground music, a type of music that was first applied by the Afro-American in the united states. it perceived expressing freedom, as the response to the racist practices toward them. In the early 21st century, underground music reached the streets of Palestine; Haifa, Jaffa, Gaza, Ramallah, Rahat, and Jerusalem. They were all singing out their pain. The project will take place in Jerusalem, taking into consideration the tension the city holds, it will give it other features, specialized with art, despite the hate that controls the streets of Jerusalem. The project will provide a space that encourages people to unite through art, in the hope to ignore the facts around them and break boundaries through art
